The centre case’s gradient rainbow ion-plated finish evokes the shifting nature of future energy, capturing the next step in the G-SHOCK evolution and transformation. Different finishes for individual components complement and contrast to exude a powerful sense of presence, with screws finished in gold-colour ion plating and the glass surface treated with rainbow vapour deposition.

The intricate, contemporary shape, seen from the side, highlights the design’s structural beauty. The bezel and metal centre case are connected at the top and bottom, further accentuating the intricate, radiant beauty of the rainbow ion-plated centre case’s form.

Made of resilient resin, the internal protector temporarily deforms to absorb shocks, for a timepiece with a full-metal exterior that meets G-SHOCK shock-resistance standards. The stainless-steel case employs a screw-lock case back to ensure a tight seal.

The high-definition MIP LCD embeds memory in each pixel to deliver exceptional readability with finer detail than conventional LCDs. Use the buttons to switch between four basic display modes and tap into the dedicated app to change the main display to CLASSIC for a traditional 7-segment look.
