A wonderfully intense photograph, late 19th century I believe, with this preacher looking very fire and brimstone evangelical to me. (He reminds me a bit of Joaquin Phoenix in The Master, too!)  I love that his feet didn't quite make it into the frame--making it seem as if he were standing right there, having walked up the the alley and now arriving at one's doorstep, delivering The Word.

6 1/2" x 4 1/4" as mounted. Loss to upper right corner of card and scattered stains as evident, but photo itself in good condition.
