Very deep transparent modern violet with great color strength and lightfastness, producing rich glazes and bright lilac tints. Used in small amounts, Dioxazine Purple can quickly tone down the brightness of other colors, as it deepens them, resulting in uniquely colorful yet quiet and shadowy mixtures.

Dioxazine Purple is shown at left with Orchid to its right and at center. Ruby Violet Light is at far right and blending into the Orchid on its left.

Dioxazine Purple is milled with the finest alkali refined Linseed Oil in limited quantities for a naturally drying durable paint film.
