Installation Instructions

Step 1: Clean the Surface
Thoroughly clean the surface using a strong grease remover like TSP (Tri-Sodium Phosphate). The surface should be smooth and completely dry to ensure proper adhesion.
Tip: If the wall was recently painted, allow at least three weeks for the paint to fully cure before applying the tiles.

Step 2: Plan & Cut
Use a pencil and ruler to mark where each tile will go. Cut tiles as needed using a box cutter and a metal ruler with a cork backing for precision.

Step 3: Peel & Stick
Begin by peeling back a portion of the protective backing (avoid touching the adhesive). Align the tile with your guide and press lightly into place. Once properly positioned, remove the rest of the backing and press firmly using a plastic smoother, especially along grout lines and textured areas.
Tip: The adhesive typically reaches full strength within 48 hours. For optimal results, re-press the grout lines after 24 hours.

Step 4: Finish & Enjoy
Repeat the process to complete your wall, achieving a smooth, seamless finish.

These tiles adhere best to smooth and clean surfaces such as:

Avoid applying tiles to the following:

• Greasy or oily walls

• Unfinished drywall or plaster
  
• Unpainted plywood

Note:
If the wall surface is not ideal or if additional adhesive strength is needed, we recommend using 3M Purpose 45 Spray Adhesive to ensure optimal bonding.
