Usage:

The 500P is suitable for both adults and children. It comes with an Adult Pad-Pak.
For children under 8 years old or weighing less than 25 kg (55 lbs), a Pediatric-Pak is required and can be purchased separately.

Battery & Pad-Pak:

The 500P uses HeartSine’s Pad-Pak, a single-use cartridge that combines the battery and electrodes. This simplifies maintenance by requiring only one expiration date to track and one item to replace after use.

• Shelf Life: 4 years from the date of manufacture.
• Capacity: Delivers up to 60 shocks or provides six hours of continuous monitoring.
• Low Battery Alert: An audible beep sounds when fewer than ten shocks remain, indicating it’s time for replacement.

Always Ready:

A System Status Ready Indicator flashes to confirm the device is fully operational and ready for use. The AED performs an automatic self-check weekly.
