Product Description

The Clos de Meixvelle is a rare monopole vineyard located just below the village of Gevrey-Chambertin, fully enclosed by walls and owned exclusively by Domaine Pierre Gelin. Planted on deep, well-drained clay-limestone soils, the vineyard produces a Pinot Noir of remarkable roundness, aromatic richness, and silky tannins, often making it one of the most charming and accessible wines in the domaine’s lineup.

In the warm and generous 2022 vintage, this wine shows particularly ripe fruit, soft tannic structure, and early approachability, while retaining Gevrey’s hallmark depth and savory complexity. Aged in French oak barrels (20–25% new) for around 16 months.
