The Detroit General reimagines the classic image of a military commander on horseback, but this time the flag being carried is Detroit’s. Blending classical art with modern Detroit culture, the piece celebrates pride, loyalty, and the unstoppable spirit of the city.

Victory looks different here — it wears sneakers and carries the Lions flag.

This piece is currently available and on display as part of the Breaking Borders exhibit at Haus of Brunch inside the Westin Book Cadillac in Downtown Detroit.
