How to use: 

• remove the blade from mower or tractor and place in a vise with cutting edge up
• place the blade sharpener in any handheld drill with a handle diameter of 6.35 mm (0.25 inches), tighten chuck and set drill rotation for drilling
• using the forward face of the blade sharpener, grind off all the nicks and burrs from the flat underside of the blade
• place the blade sharpener over the blade edge with the grinding wheels against the beveled edge and the nylon guide against the flat underside
• move the blade sharpener lengthwise against the edge, keeping slight downward pressure, the nylon guide should always be kept flush against the flat underside of the blade
• sharpen only the outer 3-4 inches (7.6 - 10.2 cm) of the blade
• do not sharpen the entire length of the blade, use caution when sharpening near the ends of the blade as the sharpener could jam against the end
