Overview

The Rocket 620 is the industry's first PCI-Express 2.0 host adapter delivering the next generation of SATA connectivity up to 600 MB/s on a single PCI-Express x1 lane. The Rocket 620 enables the use of the industry's newest and fastest hard drives at 6 Gb/s while providing backward compatibility to legacy SATA 1.5 Gb/s or 3 Gb/s drives. It uses the same cable and connectors as previous SATA generations to ease integration.
