ABEC 3 MAX: Maximum quantity of steel balls, Grade 10. Specially designed for rear suspension pivots. These bearings can handle loads 35–40% higher than standard bearings. The MAX bearing uses CRC marine grease, which provides maximum protection. Even saltwater is unaffected by this bearing. The LLU seals provide maximum protection against the elements. LLU: Similar to our LLB seals, the LLU is a contact seal with double "lips" housed in a recess in the inner ring. Guaranteeing improved sealing, these seals are ideal for suspension pivots or headsets that are constantly exposed to salt, sweat, and dust. This improved seal and the two "lips" help retain 90% of the grease we use on the bearings, protecting them from moisture and continuously lubricating the balls and ball race.
