The 6000V Overseas is a fantasy wishlist of watchmaking feats realized. Coming from the longest-running watch brand in the world, the 6000V is a true heavyweight fighter. With a 42.5 solid yellow gold case and integrated bracelet, the watch already packs a punch, but the showstopper of this watch is the movement itself. Housed in the case is an open-worked (skeleton), automatic, tourbillon powerplant. Every gear, spring, and function can be seen from the wrist. Sitting at 6 o'clock is the tourbillon escapement, a device first pioneered by Abraham-Louis Breguet in 1795 to counteract the forces of gravity that often interfere with a movement's accuracy. Hidden within the tourbillon is Vacheron's signature Maltese cross for an extra touch of history. Astonishingly, even with its impressive list of functions, the watch still sits  just under 11mm thick; the 6000V truly deserves its name – "Ultra Thin." Powering the watch is Vacheron Constantin's in-house Caliber 2160SQ automatic movement with 80 hours of power reserve.
