Installation Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Surface
Clean the surface thoroughly using a strong degreaser like TSP (Tri-Sodium Phosphate). A smooth, dry surface is essential for strong adhesion.
Tip: For newly painted walls, wait up to three weeks before applying tiles.

Step 2: Plan and Cut
Use a pencil and ruler to lightly mark the wall where each tile will be placed. Use a box cutter and a metal ruler with a cork backing for accurate cutting.

Step 3: Peel and Stick
Peel back part of the protective backing (avoid touching the adhesive to prevent weakening). Align the tile using your guide, press lightly to position, then remove the rest of the backing. Once in place, press firmly with a plastic smoother—especially along grout lines and textured areas—for the best adhesion.
Tip: The adhesive will fully bond to the wall within 48 hours. After 24 hours, press grout lines again with a smoother to reinforce the bond.

Step 4: Finish and Enjoy
Continue applying the tiles, repeating the steps for a seamless, polished look.

Recommended Surfaces:
These tiles adhere best to smooth and clean surfaces such as:

Avoid applying tiles to the following:

• Greasy or oily walls

• Unpainted plywood

Important Note:
If your wall surface is not ideal, or for added adhesion security, we recommend using 3M Purpose 45 Spray Adhesive to ensure optimal results.
