These seem pretty Valentine-y to me with their XXXX's, and I also thought they would make great signs for his and her bathrooms, say! (Of course I'm all for gender neutral ones.)  All sorts of contexts, really, in which these would be good, so I'm listing as a pair. More evident in hand than in photos, too, is that the positive spaces between the cutout X's look, by chance, a little like chickens or turkey, heads down tails up, nibbling away at the ground. 

Each: 6 3/4 x 3 5/8. Both in very good condition, with nice patina to the brass. Late 19th/early 20th c. I believe.
