No compromises have been made in protecting the installed hardware or the power supply itself: The GPS series power supplies are equipped with a total of five protective circuits (OPP, SCP, OVP, OCP, and NLP). The entire GPS series is equipped with a quiet 140mm fan and intelligent fan control, or IFC. The IFC ensures that the power supply fan only starts cooling when the internal temperature of the power supply exceeds 65°C. If the internal temperature drops below 65°C, the fan switches off. If the internal temperature drops below 65°C, the fan will switch back to standby mode - this keeps the power supply's noise level extremely low.
