Another week, another piece of miniature furniture, this a very lovely paint decorated antique bench, 3rd quarter 19th c. I would guess. Red and black painted flourishes on the seat, front and back, against what looks perhaps like a now much mellowed gold, and a layer of varnish over top. A bit of separation between the left side piece and bench, minor; one could give it a light tap with a hammer if desired. Red paint on the underside, with a note written in pencil: "1 seat, 1 table, 3 chairs."

 7" l x 3 1/4" d x 5 1/8" t and in good antique condition, some paint/finish wear/loss here and there.
