LVT-4 Amtrac Water Buffalo, or Landing Vehicle, Tracked or Amphibious Tractor, was used at the Normandy Landings in small number;, in the Netherlands and crossing the Rhine River.  The USMC used them in large numbers in the Pacific at Saipan, Guam, and Tinian.  Some were supplied to the Soviet Union and they used them in river crossings against the Germans, late in World War Two.  Over 8,000 were built.

This model is 3D printed using filament, and will show striations which are normal for this technology.  This is a model kit that is sold un-assembled and un-painted.  The model can be constructed using regular model tools and model paints.  Super glue gel and 5 minute epoxy glues work well on these types of kits.
