A very good old stone fruit (alabaster) lemon, uncommonly green at either end and otherwise a richer/darker than typical yellow, which, together with the ring of discoloration on the underside, make me believe meant to represent an over-ripe one, in the process of decaying. (That lighter colored ring on the flatter bottom suggests it has been sitting on the table too long and has started to rot.) My favorite stone fruits are ones (most often peaches and pears) that realistically portray bruising, but I've never seen a rotting lemon! Very realistic rind texture too. Excellent!

Approx 3 1/8" l x 2 1/4" d and in good condition, with general light wear.
