Star-shaped freshwater pearls and round freshwater pearls, hand-knotted one by one onto dusty blue silk — each star catching light a little differently, each knot holding its pearl just so. The clasp is a simple 9ct gold spring ring, designed to sit naturally at the back of the neck at choker length. It does its job without drawing attention - the stars are the story here.

Pearls are organic and will thank you for a little care. Put this necklace on last — after perfume, after hairspray — and take it off first. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wearing. Store flat or loosely coiled, away from other jewellery. With that, it should last a very long time.
