Why Fibered Silicone Sealant?

GAF Silicone Fibered Sealant is a
polyethylene fiber-reinforced,
high-build, non-sagging vertical
grade silicone sealant. Features
include low odor, easy application,
a fast moisture activated cure, and
strong adhesion to a variety of
substrates.

APPLICATION

APPLICATION: GAF Silicone Fibered
Sealant may be applied by trowel
or putty knife. Repair cracks,
breaks, tears and holes by applying
sealant as required. Typical
application rates are between ⅛”
to ½”, however, product can be
applied at higher rates as
necessary. Sealant can be applied
over old silicone coating or sealant
which has cured. Work the sealant
into the crack or break and spread
it 2" to 4" beyond, feathering the
edges. Check to see that no voids
have been left in patched areas.
