Nihilo has a great reputation for making the best clutch components in the industry for the small bore KTM’s and Husqvarna’s. Years of racing and testing the 65 has showed us that there was one part of the KTM / Husqvarna / GASGAS 65 clutch assembly that needed some improvement, the pressure plate. The stock pressure plate is made of cast aluminum and by its design it cannot be as precise and durable as the new Nihilo Concepts Billet Aluminum Hard Anodized component. Made from aircraft grade 6061 billet aluminum to the most exacting standards and assuring that the contact area of the new pressure plate is perfectly concentric allowing it to make complete contact with the fiber plates and providing a more linier and consistent feel to the rider and more power to the rear wheel. The stock pressure plate has high and low spots that can only partially come in contact with the other plates which creates less friction and more slipping. A quality clutch is designed to grab securely and consistently so it can provide smooth strong clutch performance. The new Nihilo pressure plate has large oil passages providing more lubrication and less burning under heavy load.
