Clear penetrating treatment for waterproofing

Siloxane Solution is an impregnating agent, which induces water repellence in absorbent mineral building materials. It is based on oligomeric, organosiloxane (partly hydrolysed silane) in aliphatic solvent.

Under the influence of atmospheric humidity the sealer condenses to a tack-free polysiloxane.

Advantages:

• Effective capillary and pore blocking
• Excellent penetration capacity
• High alkali resistance
• Tack-free drying
• Application to slightly damp materials is possible (but not desirable)
• Excellent UV stability

Yield:

The application rate is dependant on the absorptive capacity of the substrate. As a general guide the following may be used:

Asbestos cement 6–10/m²/litre
Concrete 2–4/m²/litre
Roughcast 1.2/m²/litre
Aerated concrete 1/m²/litre
