DESCRIPTION:

Our soy wax is a natural vegetable wax made from soybean oil.  It is most known for its usage in candle making.  It is commonly used in cosmetics as a vegan substitute for refined petroleum goods such as lip balms, hair conditioners, and other skin and hair care products.

• It burns slower and lasts longer than conventional wax candles.
• Soy wax candles burn cleaner than other typical waxes, such as paraffin.

• It aids in the emulsification of oils. As a result, you may incorporate numerous oils into your recipe while retaining the advantages of each without compromising texture or spreadability.
• Improving a product's spreadability can help transport key ingredients evenly throughout the skin.
• It is an extremely flexible wax, making it perfect for thick or semi-solid goods that need to be applied evenly without breaking.

HOW IT WORKS-

• It works by using its crystalline to bind solvents or oils together.
• It also creates a protective layer that prevents the sweating-out of the compositions.  

CONCENTRATION AND SOLUBILITY-

• It is recommended that it should be used at a concentration of 5-25%.
• It is insoluble in water but is soluble in oils and solvents. 

HOW TO USE- 

• Heat the water and oil phases of your formulation separately.
• Add our soy wax to the oil phase and heat it until the wax is completely melted using a double boiler.  
• After the wax is completely melted active ingredients and different aromatic scents can be added. 
• Blend both the phases together using a mini-mixer until a smooth mixture is not obtained.
