The GWR NB Miata Seat Pan Lowering kit was designed from scan data of a 1999 NB1 chassis to accommodate both a stock NB1 seat with the OE 3-point belts and an OMP HTE-400 centered on the steering wheel riding on Corbeau double-locking sliders with a 6-point Schroth harness. The car has a full interior and a Harddog M2 double-diagonal roll bar.

The seat height and slider mounting angle was set for over-the-dash visibility for drivers ranging from a 5’5 125 lb (165cm/57kg) to 6’0 220 lb (183cm/100kg). Taller drivers have driven and found the car comfortable. The submarine belt pickup points were located to maintain an appropriate camlock position across the occupant range without having to adjust the belts, which facilitates quick driver swaps during race or track events.

An OE seat is lowered 25mm in the front and 50mm in the rear with our kit. Our design position with sliders places the rear of a composite racing seat 15mm below the OE floor. Without sliders, the seat can easily be positioned 25mm lower. Our kit also allows the lowest-possible position of any on the market, which is approximately 35mm below our design position.

This is the V2 Version of the original Guarino Watson Racing Seat pan Drop being sold under E3 Machine. Product Fits the NA & NB Miata. The Kit comes with everything required for the Driver Side weld in assembly, powder coated Seat Brackets, and the Passenger Reinforcement Bracket.
