This book is a godsend for genealogists working on Fauquier ancestors. The abstracts summarize all significant genealogical information currently available relating to any and all persons who got into the records of county or state governments from the first session of the county court in May 1759 through the end of 1799. If one doesn't find a searched-for name in this book, chances of uncovering something useful in the courthouse in Warrenton or the State Archives in Richmond are minimal.
