This Online course explains the general principles of estimating measurement uncertainty in quantitative biological analyses, including microbiological measurements. The course covers the use of calibrants and other reference materials, identifies sources of variation, the difference between accuracy and precision, and measurement traceability. Day 1 (9am to 5pm) is for all participants and Day 2 (9am to 12pm) is additional content specific for microbiologists.
