This Kanchipuram Silk Kalamkari Butta Brown Saree is what we term a magnificent work of art on a superb fabric. A remarkable phenomenon is created when the lovely brown overlay is handpainted with subtle kalamkari motifs of celestial entities and enhanced with gold zari butta over a yellow foundation. Pallu is incredibly mesmerising with brocade variants and matched with the contrast cream broad korvai border designed in brocade versions and flanked by red selvedge. A plain, red zari-bordered blouse is used with the saree for a rich look.
