Featuring richly printed Italian paper by Tassotti, these earrings pair Temperance (XIIII) and Judgement (XX) from the Tarot de Marseille — one of the earliest tarot decks, born in Northern Italy and beloved in 17th–18th century France for its luminous symbolism and hand-colored imagery.

This angelic pairing carries a message of grace and awakening. Temperance represents balance, harmony, and the art of blending opposites — a calm and measured flow between worlds. Judgement speaks to renewal, self-realization, and the call to rise into one’s higher purpose. Together, they embody the courage to listen inwardly and the serenity to trust divine timing — a pairing close to my own heart and once a favorite of my grandmother, Lois.

Each pair is handmade using authentic Tassotti paper, preserved under resin, suspended from bronze chain, and finished with gold-fill ear wires.
