Extremely popular since it was launched in 2017, we are pleased to release the latest 5oz silver proof high relief swan coin featuring the majestic icon of Western Australia. 

Each coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 5oz of 99.99% pure silver in proof quality with a high relief strike and issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965. 

The Perth Mint will release no more than 500 of the Australian Swan 2024 5oz Silver Proof High Relief Coin. 

DESIGN 

The coin portrays a swan flapping its wings while settling on water. Its high relief strike, which projects a noticeably fuller impression, includes a night sky featuring representations of a full moon and stars. As well as the inscription ‘2024 5oz 9999 AUSTRALIAN SILVER SWAN’, the reverse also incorporates a ‘P125’ mintmark signifying The Perth Mint’s 125th anniversary. 

The coin’s obverse depicts the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, and includes the monetary denomination.

The coin is housed in a classic display case with a clear lid. Packaged within an illustrated shipper, each coin is accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity.
