A vintage 3.1 carat solitaire diamond ring. Set to centre a round brilliant-cut diamond of VS2 clarity and J/L colour. The diamond is secured in an 18ct yellow gold claw-setting with an open back-holing and tapered shoulders. This is an immaculate example of its kind and sits beautifully on the hand. Tested 18ct yellow gold, circa 1960.
