Performance

Using Olympus’s Coating Method, the Vanta C-Series can quantify up to three layers of metallic or non-metallic coatings on diverse substrates (metal, plastic, glass, or wood). Each layer is measured in microns, with an approximate detection range from sub-micron to 20 µm, depending on the coating element and substrate composition

It measures heavy and light elements alike — from titanium (Ti) to lead (Pb) — giving manufacturers and finishers reliable control over plating, galvanizing, and corrosion-protection processes.
