Carrot butter is a bright yellowish solid butter prepared by combining carrot oil with hydrogenated vegetable oil. Carrot oil contains beta-carotene, vitamins B, C, D, and E, as well as important fatty acids. This butter can be used to creams or lotions to make them ultra-rich while also improving skin moisture and smoothness. This unique butter spreads easily, making it an ideal choice for massage butter or a base for moisturizing goods.

Common Applications: Solid butter is ideal for manufacturing rich lip balms, as well as skin, nail, and hair products.

Recommended Use:
Lotions and creams: 2-20%.
Balms: 5-100 percent.
Bar soaps: 5–20%

When mixing butter into creams and lotions, it may be required to gently warm the butter before incorporating it into the finished product. Using a hand blender, form a vortex with your cream or lotion and then sprinkle in the melted butter to properly combine. The standard rule of thumb for adding soap is 1 tablespoon per pound (15 g / 500 g). As with most raw materials, outcomes may vary, thus we strongly advise making small, lab-scale batches before beginning commercial production.

Above ambient temperatures, the product may become quite soft (e.g., 36 °C), but it will re-solidify upon cooling without losing functionality. This butter has an 18-month shelf life when stored properly.
