The Indian Crook Knife or Mocotaugan is based on a North American design and is used like a drawknife but with one hand instead of two. It is the multi-tool of the Woodsman having a much bigger and wider blade and a shaped handle with a thumb rest to enable more force and control.

This style of Indian Crook Knife has a flatter blade with a curved tip. The bevel is on the inside, so it can be used like a drawknife ideal for planing cuts and used for making paddles, bow staves, axe handles etc.

We now make this knife with 2 blade lengths either 3" long or 4" long for even wider cuts.

This crook knife is supplied with a leather blade wrap to protect the edge.
