Designed & developed with the keen hobby woodworker in mind, the SABRE 300 embodies the next step in the evolution of our flagship bandsaw range, offering a high quality & extremely versatile machine, at a size suitable for most workshops.

With a multitude of innovative features, substantial power & capacity, the SABRE 300 is the ideal machine to handle a wide variety of tasks, ranging from small items to large heavy pieces, making it the ultimate multi purpose bandsaw. The advantageous rip fence micro adjustment feature enables extremely accurate positioning, helping to achieve the desired position quickly & easily.

The premium-grade sliding block blade guides provide extensive blade support, to help minimise vibration & enhances stability & control. The blade guides are made from premium O1 tool steel, selected for its exceptional ability to dissipate heat more efficiently than ceramic alternatives. Adjustment of the blade guides is completely tool-free & can be carried out quickly & easily, using the accurate adjustment & locking handles.

The SABRE 300 takes wood dust protection to the next level, with the combination of side & rear dust extraction ports. The rear dust port features a CamVac bayonet fitting, allowing direct connection with CamVac high-filtration dust extractors. The side dust port pairs with the Record Power 2.5" flexible hose, streamlining the dust extraction setup. A removable dust cap situated within the lower cabinet over the blade, further reduces airflow leakage, increasing extraction efficiency.

Dust Extraction Advancements

Side & rear dust extraction ports provide effective protection from harmful wood dust. The 2.5” (63 mm) diameter side port is compatible with standard CamVac 2.5” hose and the 4” (100 mm) rear port features a CamVac-compatible bayonet fitting, also compatible with standard 4” hose & fixings.

Useful Height Guide

Cam-Action Blade Tension Adjustment

Release & re-apply blade tension instantly using the cam-action handle. This makes changing blade simple & fast and if the new blade is the same as the old, the correct tension can be instantly re-applied on fitment.

Easy Fence Movement

The fence features a nylon pad on the underside to ensure it glides smoothly across the full table surface & over the mitre slots.

Rack and Pinion Blade Guide Adjustment

The blade guides move on a sturdy rack & pinion system which can be locked in place to provide a fixed rigid repeatable location for ease-of-use.

Upper and Lower Inspection Windows for Easy Blade Tracking

The inspection windows allow the blade to be seen on the wheel from the side, making blade tracking much easier.

Adjustable Table Insert

The table features two essential levelling screws to raise or lower the table insert for a smooth feed over the cast iron table.

Offset Door Hinges

The offset hinges enable the door to open far enough to give good access for blade changing, even with the bandsaw spine positioned against the workshop wall.

Crowned Band wheels

The crowned band wheels help the blade run naturally in the centre of the wheel and raise the blade to minimise contact between blade teeth and bandsaw tyres. The radius is machined into the casting to offer a permanent solution that cannot wear down and will remain consistent, even when changing tyres.

Lower Cabinet Dust Cap

Designed to reduce airflow leakage into the main cabinet, improving overall extraction efficiency.
