The additional housing strength allows the ring & pinion gear to mesh on the flat side of the teeth, greatly increasing ring & pinion life and overall maximum load strength. Top quality, high power neodymium magnets are used in both the drain plug and dipstick to collect metal wear particles as the vehicle moves. The location of the magnet at the end of the dipstick allows you to check the oil. Reveals signs of internal damage.
