A SOLID fine silver image of Our Lady of Guadalupe sits on an oval sterling silver base with a radiating stamped pattern.  The Miraculous Medal was created with a die that was designed over 100 years ago!  These dies were hand carved by hand and used in the jewelry industry.  It’s amazing they still exist.
