Our Personal Genealogist for the Day  (also referred to as “PGD”) service is scheduled virtually as a (2) hour or (4) hour meeting for beginning researchers.  In-person is scheduled as a (3) hour of (5) hour meetings. 

This service allows you to refer with an expert genealogist, who will actively research alongside you, and is a great opportunity to observe, to learn, and to discuss research methodologies. 

You are able to submit any family information prior to your appointment and the consulting genealogist will conduct research during your session. 

We are currently scheduling these sessions in-person at our NEHGS Library or via Zoom video conferencing platform.
