An 18th century French Country Louis XV period carved buffet handcrafted of solid walnut that's been bleached or washed to a natural finish by talented artisans in the Normandy region, circa 1760s. This charming washed oak buffet, with it's crusty, centuries old patina, has a beveled edge plank top sitting above three drawers over two recessed panel doors having carved floral and foliate motifs and original iron hardware. Doors open to reveal a single shelf. Carved, serpentine shaped apron resting on short cabriole legs. A wonderful antique French buffet that is perfect for entertaining with plenty of storage and a nice serving surface. The narrow depth makes it a versatile piece that can fit in a small space.
