Sikalastic®-390 Membrane is a two-component, solvent-free, elastomeric polyurethane waterproofing membrane used in high-demand environments. It serves as a key component of the Sikalastic® Parking Deck Waterproofing System and Sikafloor® Industrial and Decorative Flooring Systems.

Sikalastic®-390 Membrane is typically used with specific primers based on substrate conditions:

• Sikalastic®-120 FS Primer for standard concrete or wood substrates with low moisture content (≤ 4%).
• Sika® MT Primer for concrete substrates with higher moisture content (4–6%) or metal penetrations.
• For moisture content > 6%, Sikafloor®-81 EpoCem®CA is required as a moisture barrier.

This membrane is suitable for a range of environments including:

• Multi-storey parking garages
• Parking decks and ramps
• Footbridges, walkways, rooftop and plaza decks
• Balconies, terraces, mechanical rooms
• Stadiums, arenas, shower rooms
• Any areas requiring crack-bridging and waterproof flooring systems

• Mixing Ratio: 2:1 (A:B by volume)
• Coverage Rate: 1.2 - 1.6 m²/L (50 - 65 ft²/gal) at 25 - 30 mil wet film thickness
• Application Method: Applied using a notched squeegee and backrolled; minimum one coat required, more on absorbent surfaces.
• Pot Life: ~20 minutes at 23 °C (73 °F)
• Recoat Time: 6–24 hours
• Traffic Ready: 48 hours
• Full Cure: 7 days
• Application Temperature Range: 10 °C to 32 °C (50 °F to 90 °F)
• Minimum Film Thickness: 25 mil wet film (opacity is a QC marker)
• Surface Preparation: Must be clean, dry, CSP 3–4 profile. Surface defects must be pre-repaired.
• Substrate Requirements: Minimum compressive strength of 25 MPa; tensile strength ≥ 1.5 MPa

• UV Stability: Not specifically stated as UV stable or resistant; use topcoats accordingly for UV exposure.
• Moisture Tolerance: Not to be applied where concrete moisture > 4% unless using moisture mitigation products.
• Limitations: Not suitable for on-grade slabs, unvented decks, buried membranes, asphalt, or where moisture vapor transmission is active.
• VOC Content: 3 g/L – very low, contributing to safer application indoors.
• Abrasion and Chemical Resistance: High; passes ASTM tests for tensile, elongation, abrasion, water absorption.
• Environmental Considerations: Contains 55% rapidly renewable materials (non-food vegetable oil).
