Leaving this aquarium tank void of aquatic plants would make for an ideal biotop setup for a wild Betta Fish or smaller nano schooling fish such as micro Rasboras. Another option would be to spread aquatic moss such as Mini Pelia at the base of the rocks and adding a taller yet wild grass-like aquatic plant such as Echinodorus Tenellus or Potamogeton Gayi in the background while leaving room in the foreground of this aquascape for natural fine sand.
