Unlock valuable space while gaining better access to the spare with the Promaster Rear Door Tire Carrier. The Promaster Tire Carrier relocates the spare to the rear door, freeing up underfloor space for water tanks or auxiliary fuel tanks below. It includes a strap to prevent the door from swinging all the way open and allows you to carry larger-than-stock tires.

The main frame of the Promaster Van Tire Carrier is constructed from 1.75” aluminum round tube and 3/16” formed aluminum for a lightweight yet durable structure. An adjustable lock rod is included to accommodate different wheel sizes and wheel lug patterns.

Installation of the tire carrier can be done in an hour, only requiring basic hand tools. The Promaster Tire Carrier mounts on the hinges with stainless steel brackets and requires a single mounting point on the door using the included drill template. After years of R&D with rear door products, we’ve found minimal drilling is essential for a reliable tire carrier without any compromises or unappealing features. This third mounting point also features our dual-shock silicone damper that absorbs impact in both directions to protect the door - a first in the adventure van industry.
