[Project work began at Messerschmitt in April 1939 on a new high-speed fighter plane, powered by the innovative "turbine jet" system. The Me262 took its first flight on July 18, 1942.]

Powered by two Jumo 004B type engines, the Me262 reaches a maximum speed of 870km/h at an altitude of 6000m. With a service ceiling of 11400m and a range of 1050km, this aircraft is a force to be reckoned with.

This model kit includes all parts molded in grey plastic, with clear pieces for the canopy. When completed, the Me262 measures 244mm long and 260.6mm wide.
