The MSN-00100 Hyaku-Shiki is Quattro Bajeena's golden mobile suit from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam (UC 0087). Originally a rejected prototype from the Zeta Gundam project's design competition, it was repurposed into a high-performance general-purpose machine for Quattro Bajeena, the alias Char Aznable used during his AEUG operations against the Titans. The gold finish is an anti-beam coating, not decoration, though the visual impact is unmistakable. Mamoru Nagano's elegant design is one of the most beautiful in UC Gundam, and the name "One Hundred Formula" hints at the pursuit of perfection chosen over a transforming body.
This Ver.2.0 release applies Bandai's modern MG engineering. Exterior parts use 8 different colours of plating, paired with realistic decals (the first MG to use the technique together) to create a sense of metallic density and aircraft scale. The Movable Armour System adds mobility linked to the inside of the armour parts: moving the shoulder armour and backpack cover improves arm flexibility, and the shin back armour's opening mechanism extends ankle range. Paintable materials are used for the internal structure.
