Without water

Appearance: A classic light, golden amber hue

Nose: A gentle, briney seaside aroma, nicely balanced with a hint of wet slate and sweet almond.

Palate: Warm, enveloping sweetness of porridge and toasted cereal.

Finish: Mellow oats and barley along with freshly baked bread followed by a fiery and confident, lengthy finish.

With Water

Appearance: A light golden colour.

Nose: The addition of water reveals more of the sweetness of fresh pear, butterscotch and green apple, still well-balanced by saline minerals and a delightful blend of salty kelp, cut hay and vegetal notes.

Palate: Warming cereals and toasted sour dough bread

Finish: An elegant finish with pink peppercorn accents and apples.

About The Dryad

Among the deep green glens of the Highlands, where ancient woodland still grows undisturbed, a great oak rises from the forest floor. Within its aged trunk lies a hidden presence, a Dryad, the spirit of the tree itself, bound to the oak and to the land that surrounds it. Elusive and graceful, yet filled with quiet strength, the Dryad belongs to the oldest Celtic legends, carrying an air of mystery that feels untouched by time.

Our whisky draws inspiration from this woodland spirit. Rested in oak and shaped by the slow passage of years, it reveals a character that is smooth, natural, and quietly powerful.
