Overview
The Morley‑IAS MA‑8000‑01 (MAx family) is a networkable, multi‑processor addressable fire alarm control panel intended for medium-to-large commercial installations. The base unit provides four addressable detection loops and can be expanded to eight loops using MA‑LIB2 expansion cards. The panel features a 7" colour touchscreen, advanced cause‑and‑effect logic (Control‑By‑Event), extensive event logging and CANbus networking.

Installation & Safety

• Installation, commissioning and maintenance must be performed by a qualified fire alarm engineer in accordance with local codes and EN54 rules.
• Use appropriate battery sizing and cabling; panel supports up to 2 × 12 V / 38 Ah batteries.
• Do not attempt to service internal electronics while powered. Follow manufacturer installation manual for wiring, loop/zone planning and programming.
