A New Class of Clarity

The 3M™ Littmann® CORE Digital Stethoscope combines the outstanding acoustics, comfort, and quality of a Littmann cardiology-grade stethoscope with powerful digital technology. Features such as up to 40× amplification and active noise cancellation can help you auscultate with greater confidence. The Littmann® CORE connects with Eko software on a compatible smart device to visualise, record, and share data.

Digital + Analog Listening

The FDA-cleared Littmann® CORE toggles between analog and amplified listening modes, allowing you to choose how you listen during assessments. Tunable diaphragm technology—a 3M invention—lets you hear different frequency sounds by adjusting pressure on the chestpiece: light pressure helps reveal low-frequency sounds, while firmer pressure captures higher-frequency sounds.

Eko Software & Workflow

Used with Eko software on iOS and Android, the CORE provides a HIPAA-compliant way to save and annotate 15, 30, 60, or 120-second recordings in a secure dashboard. You can build a library of heart sounds for education or monitoring and securely share recordings with colleagues.

The Littmann® CORE can be used with Eko Artificial Intelligence to aid in the detection of murmurs (AI purchased separately). This product combines the Eko CORE attachment and the 3M™ Littmann® Cardiology IV™ Stethoscope. Refer to the relevant user manuals for product instructions and guidance.
