Roland TrueVis LG Series Features

Key Selling Points

In anticipation of market growth and competition, the new TrueVIS LG Series printer/cutters were designed to meet the demands made by original LEC2 users, as well as the ever-changing market.

• Two staggered printheads (1.4” wide)
• Printheads are equipped with a heater that warms up the ink, minimizing the effect of outside temperature and ensuring stable color. This reduces the idling time required until the printhead heats up, especially during the winter.
• Optimized Waveform for high-speed printing.
• New UV lamps for more efficient curing.  

• Amazing Print Speeds
• The LG can print up to 172 ft²/hr (15.98 m²/hr) in Standard Mode in CMYK.
• The LG can print up to 229 ft²/hr (21.27 m²/hr) in High-Speed Mode in CMYK.
• The LG can print up to 343 ft²/hr (31.87 m²/hr) in Draft Mode in CMYK.

7-inch LCD Control Panel

• During printing operations, the control panel will display the current status of the printer/cutter.
• A preview pane also displays the name as well as a thumbnail image of the current job being printed.
• The status bar will also indicate the print time remaining for the displayed job.

• This is the first touchscreen control panel for Roland DG’s TrueVIS Series, the menu operation is so intuitive that using these printers/cutters is like second nature from the very beginning and the learning curve is short.

Automated Media Calibrations

• One of the innovative features added to the newly designed control panel is the ability to execute the media gap adjustment (also known as bi-directional and unidirectional adjustments.)
• In addition, the feed calibration adjustment can also be printed, scanned, and corrected for accuracy in the same operation. This is a great time-saver for making finely-tuned adjustments when changing out media from one application to the next since the user can simply walk away while the printer does the work.
