Required skill sets
To successfully complete the Autodesk certified professional exam, you typically need approximately 1200 hours of real-world Revit software experience and a general understanding of the following topics:
- General knowledge of electrical systems, their settings, and how they operate in Revit
- Basic family editing, including editing connectors, light sources, annotations, symbology, and content behavior
- Worksharing and worksets
- Manipulating views and their behaviors, including modeling, drafting, filters, templates, system browser, and more
- Leveraging Revit data, including parameters, constraints, geometry, schedules, tagging, and more
- Take a course to prepare for your certification exam
