Being offered for sale is the vintage/antique CAST IRON BOILER STAND PEDESTAL BASE, converted into an End/Accent Table and/or Piano Stool and/or Lawn/Garden Decor (by addition of an aluminum lid (maybe from a pressure cooker?) attached to top with industrial strength glue - if your intention is to remove it, that may prove more challenging than you think...that sucker is on there strong) by "Majestic Cookware" (marked at underside, see 10th pic) by "J.D. JOHNSON CO." (embossed at top of post, see 2nd pic) of Philadelphia, P.A., circa the early -to- mid 20th century (best guess...possibly a little older), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. Very Good vintage/antique condition with minor -to- moderate overall cosmetic wear but NO breaks or repairs. The base is a little loose but is a non-issue unless, perhaps if you intend to use it as a stool. The nut & rod holding the base to the column are both very rusted and will not tighten any further (a wire brush and replacement nut would probably due the trick to stiffen it up - we leave this up to you). Lid/top has its share of moderate scuffs, scratches, stains, etc. but maintains a outstanding eye-appeal. Superb patina throughout. Great example from a seldom seen maker! See pics.

Measures 19-1/2" tall. Outer edge of top is 13-5/8" diameter (excluding nubs). Base is 8-3/4" diameter. If platter top where removed, the outer edge of case iron rim is 13" diameter, with a 10" diameter hole/opening. Total weight is 17 lbs. 9.0 oz..
