Truly one of a kind piece of history, this beautiful handmade Italian large wall unit comes with an incredible story. 

According to the family we acquired it from, this piece was acquired from a Jewish-Italian family in the 1930s. As the Mussolini regime began persecuting the Jewish community in Italy, the makers family had to flee the country. This piece was actually built to spec and intended for the furniture-makers son, but when the whole family left Italy our contacts grandfather stepped in to purchase the piece and it has been in the family ever since. 

The piece features four large paneled sliding doors on the front with striking Burl throughout. The center cabinet is recessed allowing for an incredible amount of storage. A bookcase insert can be added on either the left or right side to accommodate additional storage.
