The ground cast iron table is a good solid surface and gives great stability and solidity. The machine has a 2.8kW 1ph motor producing plenty of power. A choice of four speeds between 1,800 and 9,000rpm allow the use of a wide range of tooling. A handy digital readout displays the spindle speed. The 30mm spindle has a tilt facility from +5° to - 45°. There is a stop set at 0° vertical, which can be withdrawn to allow the spindle to tilt forward by +5°. The spindle hood is cast alloy with long, fully adjustable finger style fences. It, comprehensive work hold-downs and a 100mm dust outlet. A second 100mm dust outlet is located on the stand directly below the cutter block. With the two connected to a suitable extractor waste removal is highly efficient. The machine is supplied with a simple sliding table with a mitre fence and work clamp as standard. An optional square frame table for the added support of panels etc is available. Other options include a tenoning plate, which raises the work above the table allowing you to machine the bottom and top of the work together. It also allows cutter diameters up to 200mm above the table for long tenons. N.B. This Machine requires a 16amp supply and it's recommended that a C Type breaker is used, if you are unsure please contact a qualified electrician.
